Terms and Conditions of MELYA MC PROPERTIES

These terms and conditions regulate the use of accommodation reservation services provided by Melya Mc Properties, with address at Calle 9 No. 60, Vista Catalina, La Romana, Dominican Republic, identified with RNC 132-725-859. By making a reservation with us, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions:

RESERVATIONS

  1. Reservations can be made through our website, by phone or in person.
  2. By completing a reservation, you guarantee that the information provided is true, accurate and complete.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel reservations at any time for reasonable reasons, such as errors in availability or incorrect rates.

PAYMENTS

  1. All rates are expressed in US dollars (USD) or Dominican pesos (DOP), as applicable.
  2. A payment of 100% of the total reservation is required to confirm your stay, unless otherwise specified in the confirmation.
  3. Accepted payment methods include credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), bank transfers and cash payments at our facilities.

CANCELLATION AND MODIFICATION POLICY

  1. Cancellations or modifications must be made in writing by sending an email to our reservations department.
  2. Cancellations made more than 7 days in advance of the check-in date will be entitled to a full refund, less a 5% administration fee.
  3. Cancellations made within 7 days before arrival will not be entitled to a refund.
  4. Modifications to the reservation date will be subject to availability and possible differences in rates.

NO-SHOW POLICY

If you do not show up on the day of your reservation without having previously canceled it, you will be charged the total amount of the reserved stay without the right to a refund.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT

  1. Check-in begins at 3:00 PM.
  2. Check-out must be done before 12:00 PM.
  3. Requests for early check-in or late check-out will be subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY

  1. Clients are responsible for any damage caused to the facilities during their stay. Any costs for repairs will be charged to the credit card on file or billed to the customer.
  2. Smoking is prohibited in rooms and areas designated as smoke-free. Fines will be applied for non-compliance with this policy.

PRIVACY POLICY

  1. Melya Mc Properties is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the privacy laws in force in the Dominican Republic.
  2. The information collected during the reservation process will only be used to manage your stay and, if you authorize it, to send promotions and special offers.
  3. We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, unless necessary to comply with the law or to protect the rights and safety of the company.

LIABILITY LIMITS

  1. Melya Mc Properties is not responsible for interruptions in service due to force majeure, such as natural disasters, strikes or failures in communication systems.
  2. We do not assume responsibility for the loss of valuables, unless they have been deposited in the safe deposit boxes provided by the hotel.
  3. Any claim must be submitted in writing within 30 days of the end of your stay.

PETS AND ADDITIONAL POLICIES

  1. Pets are not allowed in our facilities, except previously notified service animals.
  2. The right of admission is reserved to maintain the tranquility and safety of our guests.

APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

  1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic.
  2. Any dispute related to these terms will be resolved in the competent courts of La Romana, Dominican Republic.

CHANGES TO THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Melya Mc Properties reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Changes will be effective once posted on our website. It is the client’s responsibility to review the updated terms before each reservation.
